Staycation Glamping are enticing you to swap bricks for canvas and get you back to the wild.

Disconnecting the technology that has quickly become our new normal and reconnecting with one another outdoors in the fresh air seems like a tradition that is long overdue.

Hiring one of our beautiful canvas bell tents gives you the opportunity to experience sleeping under the stars, beneath the natural cotton canvas breathing in the fresh air.

With Staycation Glamping you can upgrade from your regular camping experience with our 3 metre, 4 metre, 5 metre and 6 metre tents.

They come with built in vents and a separate bug screen to ensure you have a good nights sleep .

The breathable nature of the natural cotton canvas means no more stuffy nights and condensation you would often find with a regular tent.

The tents are spacious and you have plenty of room to stand up, move around, and even dance!

You may be hiring one of our tents for a private event, a birthday sleepover, a home schooling outdoor adventure or even a calm place to mediate or practice yoga.

We have had couples hiring them for romantic breaks, anniversaries or simply families wanting to spend quality time together.

Spending time with loved ones outdoors can help remedy the shock and isolation many of us have experienced over this past year.

With advice from the Government advising non essential travel the UK are just about ready for the al fresco revolution.

Staycation Glamping allows well behaved dogs

At a time like this when we can’t go abroad, what better way to holiday than a Staycation with family and friends. Staycation Glamping is the perfect holiday for you and your beloved dog.

Most campsites allow dogs but not many companies allow dogs to stay in bell tents. Staycation Glamping knows how important your dog is to you and will allow your dog to stay along side you for a small extra fee.

Glamping with your dog, top tips:

Be sure to pack for your dog too. Bring plenty of bowls food and water and of course their own comfy bed. Don’t forget their regular everyday food to avoid any upset stomachs. Giving your dog scraps from the BBQ and fire pit can cause dogs stomachs to become unsettled, and nobody wants to have to get up during the night to tend to a mess from your dog, especially in a bell tent!

Campsite

First check your campsite allows dogs, find out what their rules are and also if they have a fresh water supply. Generally at campsites dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Check beforehand if there are shady spots available or will you need to bring your own shade. Will the ground be rocky, sandy, hard or even covered in ants? What wild animals will be in the area?

Local area

Make sure you are familiar with the local area, are there cliffs, poison ivy, or other toxic plants on site? If so, make sure you watch your dog even whilst on a lead. If your dog is staying in the bell tent please make sure they are up to date with all vaccinations and are treated for ticks and fleas before their Glamping experience, making sure their bedding is washed before their stay.

Emergency Kit

It is essential to pack an emergency kit for you and your dog. Pack for the environment you are going to. Be prepared for snake bites if you are in fields or forests, or jelly fish stings if you are near the sea. Antihistamine is always handy for any stings or allergies. Things like tweezers, bandages, splints, foot balm and a back up supply of medication for your dog we all good things to have in your kit.

Sit and Stay

Dog fences, crates and a ground spike for holding the lead are ideal for Glamping, to keep your dog contained whilst you are cooking or so you have a free hand for kite flying.

Finally humans, don’t forget to be prepared and pack lots of fun outdoor toys and this will maximise the camping fun with your dog.
