How it started
My name is Anna, and I have a soft spot for dogs!
Being a dog owner myself I know how important it is to find the right place for your dog to stay. This gives you peace of mind while you are away and reassurance that your dog will be relaxed and stress free. Four years ago I decided to set up this business as for the last 20 years I have been flying as cabin crew for an airline out of Gatwick. It’s been an amazing experience but I think it is time to hang up my wings for good. I’ve decided to use my customer service experience and my love of dogs to begin my dog business Pooch Patrol.
I aim to provide a home from home environment with your dog getting plenty of fuss, walks and cuddles. I’m DBS checked, licensed and fully insured.
We live in the village of Copthorne which is only five minutes away from Gatwick Airport and Junction 10 on the M23, ideal for holiday drop-offs. There is some beautiful Sussex countryside close by and plenty of walks. We also have a large enclosed rear garden for your dog to enjoy and inside there are plenty of sofas to lie on and room to play.
For the last two years I have been studying at Plumpton College and have now received both my Level 2 and Level 3 in Canine Behaviour. I have also completed my Dog First Aid and Emergency Canine Care course.
I have two children aged 13 and 11 and we are all animal lovers. We have a greyhound called Duke whom we love very much. Duke is a sociable, happy boy who loves the company of other dogs.
I look after the dogs during the day and my children help out too after school and in the evenings. The children are really keen and partly why I started this business was to get us out and about more.
I look forward to meeting you and your dog. I can keep you informed if you wish with regular Facebook/Skype/WhatsApp updates or if you prefer we can show you what they have been up to on your return.
